Yes! I was born and raised in Albuquerque. I say that I’m an 8th generation Burqueña, but honestly, I think my family has been in the Albuquerque area longer than that. My mom used to do a lot of genealogy research on our family, but at some point, she hit a dead end because records became harder to find.
In middle school, my mom, brother, and I moved to Los Lunas to live with our stepdad. So, from middle school through high school, I split my time between Los Lunas and Albuquerque.

I never set out to be a social media content creator, but during the 2020 COVID lockdowns, I was living alone, and I found myself extremely disconnected from the world. To fill this void, I turned to Instagram and TikTok to get socially connected with people again. I began posting videos about my life in Albuquerque and my following immediately took off from there.

I graduated from the University of New Mexico with my B.A. in English (professional writing) and my M.B.A. in marketing. A year after completing my M.B.A., I enrolled at the University of New Haven where I earned my M.S. in national security.
I love to learn! If school wasn’t so expensive, I think I’d be a student forever.

No - I wish! Kind of. Right now, content creation is a hobby/passion project of mine. Sometimes I wish I could turn content creation into a full-time job, but I get worried that I’ll fall out of love with it if it feels too much like a job.
But when it comes to my actual career, I’ve spent the last 18 years working in local government and as a federal government contractor. My career has been focused on business development, marketing, operations, quality assurance, systems engineering, change management, and project management.

I’ve been blessed with opportunities to work with local and national brands in the food, beverage, hospitality, and event industries. My top priority is to work with brands that have a tie to the Albuquerque community in some way. I want our collaborations to add to Albuquerque’s positive image and add value to people’s lives. If you think our goals and values align, let’s work together.
